Where to Start?

If cannabis is new to you, don’t stress. All these words like THC, CBD, terpenes, and cb1 receptors can become overwhelming when all we wanna do is get high, but maybe you don’t want to get high and still want the effects. THC OR CBD?

THC (or delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol) does have healing properties but is also the compound that makes you feel high!

CBD (or cannabidiol) is known for its medical therapeutic properties and is non-intoxifying therefore you don’t feel high with the positive effects!

Personally mixing the two is my personal preference, I like to call it a cannabis cocktail more commonly known as the “entourage effect”. When THC and CBD used together they actually enhance the positive effects of both.

Let’s focus on SATIVA and INDICA strains.

Indica might be the strain for you if you want:

  • mental relaxation
  • muscle relaxation
  • decreased nausea
  • decreased acute pain
  • increased appetite
  • increasesd dopamine

Sativa strain may be more in your interest if you want:

  • anti-anxiety
  • anti-depressant
  • treat chronic pain
  • increased focus and creativity
  • increases serotonin

CONSUMPTION

Cannabis can be consumed in many different ways and choosing your method is exciting but you may have to experiment a bit. If smoking joint isn’t for you then a vape pen may a solution for you. Microdose easily with low content edibles or cook dinner with some infused oil.
